Recovery Garden

The Recovery Garden.

What it is?

 Heat, cold, reset

Our Recovery Garden is a private outdoor space with an infrared sauna and an ice bath. You warm up in the gentle heat of the sauna, cool down in the ice bath, then go back into the warmth. That contrast is what leaves people feeling awake, light and properly switched off.

It's for anyone: runners, rugby and football players, gym-goers, busy parents and anyone who sits at a desk all day.

What happens in a session?

Your first session, step by step

  1. Arrive and settle in. Change, grab some water, and we'll talk you through everything.

  2. Warm up in the infrared sauna. Infrared warms you from within at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna, so it's comfortable rather than stuffy.

  3. Shower - just a quick rinse off before you enter the ice bath.

  4. Step into the ice bath. You're already hot from the sauna, so it feels like a refreshing cool-down. Start with as little as 30 seconds.

  5. Back into the warmth. Repeat the hot and cold as many times as you like.

  6. Leave feeling reset. Most people tell us they feel lighter, clearer and sleep better.

Sessions last [length]. Just bring a swimsuit: we provide towels and water.

FAQs

 Your questions answered

How cold is the ice bath?

Around 9°C. It's cold, ( can go down as low as 3 C ) but because you go in hot from the sauna it feels like a cool-down.

How long do I stay in?

As long or as short as you like. Even 30 seconds counts, and you can get out whenever you want.

What's the difference between infrared and a normal sauna?

A traditional sauna heats the air around you. Infrared gently warms your body directly at a lower air temperature, so it's more comfortable and you can relax for longer.

What do I need to bring?

A swimsuit and towel. We provide jugs of water to keep you hydrated.

Is it private?

Yes. Your session is just for you, or you and whoever you book with.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, and it's more fun with two. Ask us about booking together.

Can I add a massage?

Yes. Recovery and massage work brilliantly together. Ask when you book.

Safety note

Please check with your GP before booking if you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition you're unsure about. Drink plenty of water before and after your session.
